Not sure if Bungie can pull off 1080P 60fps with Halo 3, but if they can manage it, WOW!
I think they will fallback to 720P and let it upscale when the games released, the demo is going to be 720P. I guess it depends how well that performs in the live beta test.

Hmm, i hope they can do it, but if they can't i hope they dont drop stuff just to include it.
I'd rather see a full on 720p version than some compromised 1080p release.

The boss has approved a new big TV up to 42" so it's just a case of spending the next few months scouring AVForums ;-)
Ben my dad just got the sharp 42", 1080P. Has two HDMI's only trouble is the component only does upto 720P. But think ill change my 360 for an elite... Even 720P on that screen looks way better than my 26" LG.
^^ Does he not have a DVi / VGA input on the TV as well, you SHOULD be able to get 1080p using that.

Which model? Do you have a link, might be worth adding it to my short list. I'll definatley be getting the elite if only to get a slient 360! It had better be near silent anyway!
I can only do 1080p on mine through HDMI, i have the 360 at 1080i through component and it looks stunning.
If theres a decent trade up offer for the elite i would be interested, if not, its really just not worth it.
